Stephen Shell Bible
Stephen Shell, one of the eleven children of William Shell of Brunswick County, Va. (during Revolutionary War) came from Newberry District, South Carolina, to Chickasaw County, Mississippi, about 1840.* William Pettus Shell, a descendant, gave the Bible to Dr. Clytee Rebecca Evans, 1208 Second Avenue North, Columbus, Mississippi. Bible is in very poor condition and some of the family records may be gone.
