Notes for Hattie Olean Hybart

---

Olean Hybart was a devoted and dearly loved mother and grandmother. Twice widowed, she raised four children through difficult times and economic means. She taught Sunday School at Coosada Baptist Church for many years, and many citizens of that community still remember "Monnie" and the love and lessons learned at her knee.

She received her nickname when her first baby tried to say "Mommy". From then on he, her later children, and others of her church family and community addressed her affectionately that way.
