Notes for Susanna Shell

Mrs. Susan Brown, relict of Wm. Brown, and daughter of Rev. Stephen Shell, was born in Virginia May 26, 1788, and died at the residence of her son Lemon Brown, Esq., of Newton county, Ga., Feb. 27, 1876. She was a widow for twenty years, lacking one day. Six of sister Brown's children survive her; among them, Lemon, Stephen, Dr. William, and Rev. Thos. A. Brown. W. R. B.
