Notes for Aaron C. Hickman
According to the Census for 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880 he was in Upson County, Georgia in those years. His Civil War Pension Records show he became a Private in the the 46th Georgia Regiment on May 6, 1862 and was appointed 2nd Corporal in February of 1863. He was wounded at Jackson, Mississippi on May 14, 1863 and surrendered at Greensboro North Carolina on April 26, 1865. By the 1900 Census he was in Monroe County, Georgia.
