Notes for Delilah Antoinette Hickman
Information is from Hazel Y. Lewis, line of Sarah Elizabeth (twin), and the family Bible records of Moses P. Hickman and Joseph William Lineberger. Delilah Hickman died in the 1925 Hurricane on September 8 in Hollywood Florida.
John Wayne Hickman. Descendants of John Hickman.
In researching the hurricane, I discovered it hit Miami, Hollywood, Lake Okeechobee, etc. on 18 Sep 1926. It killed 27 people in Hollywood. Can't find a death list. The history of Hollywood said it was incorporated as a city in 1925 and gave no mention of a hurricane in that year. If she was killed in that hurricane, I think her death date should be 18 Sep 1926.
