Sandy was adopted by Dr. Charles M. Hampton and his Wife Cora. She believes her name was Glora Josette Lee born in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her natural father was a Hyatt Lee and natural mother was a Huffman. They were of German descent.

Obituary
Hickman, Sandra Hampton, age 64, a resident of Melbourne, Florida, died on August 3, 2003. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, Greenville, Alabama. The Rev. Herbert Brown will officiate with Dunklin-herndon Funeral Home Directing.
Mrs. Hickman is survived by her husband, Joe L. Hickman ofMelbourne, Florida and sons, Lt. Col. Kyle DeWayne Hickman and spouse, Davina of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Joseph Lon Hickman and spouse, Melissa of Atlanta, Georgia.
Mrs. Hickman is also survived by three grandchildren, Alexander Kyle, Catherine Lee and Kylie Lynetto.
