"John Blakely Shell married on 12-19-1878 to Ophelia James (Jimmie) Page, b. 9-28-1854, d. 11-22-1920. She attended LaGrange College, as did all her daughters. Six children Florence Edna m. Virgil Ingram on 12-22-1904; Nancy Lee m. Clifford Pierce Norman on 11.20-1906; George William Shell m. Lena Euphemia Johnson on 6-5-1912 (see Shell-Johnson); Mary Tallulah m. Dr. Thomas Ezzard of Roswell on 12-23-1913; Emma Rebecca m. William Hunter; Thomas Edward Shell m. Ann Johnson of Union, South Carolina."
