Notes for Henry Thomas Drewry
Henry Drewry worked for the railroad and as they built it new towns were formed. He named the town of Clio, Alabama, after his daughter Clio.
My father remembers that the family was tired of taking care of him when he got old, so they married him off to his wife's sister. According to Virginia Drewry, Henry's second wife Lizzie (Nancy) was a miser and a stinker.
Henry was a carpenter and lost an eye when a nail head flew up and hit him.
Later in his life (after the death of his second wife?) he went to live with his daughter Clio in Andalusia Alabama.

Clio Drewry Cameron was my Grandmother and he (Henry Drewry) did not die living with her but in fact it was with his daughter Mae Lyle in Birmingham.
