Obituary from The Greenville Advocate.

Cecil Shell, 85, a resident of Greenville, died July 7, 1997, in a Greenville nursing facility. Funeral services were Wednesday, July 9, 1997, at 2 p.m. from the Brushey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Wilson Shell officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors inlcuded three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Matthews of Troy, Mrs. Maymie Chambliss and Mrs Eunice Perdue, both of Greenville, and a number of neices and nephews.
