Grandchildren called her "Big Mama." Her wedding band was from the Bonner gold mine in GA. Inside the ring was engraved "Ivey and I". Once when she was throwing slop to the hogs, the ring came off and was lost. Some time later she found it again. The ring is currently worn by Jan Fields Drewry, wife of Ivey Oscar Drewry III.
