Notes for Samuel Washington Till

Samuel Washington Till enlisted in the Civil War at Notasulga, Alabama in March of 1863 as a private in Company A, 13th Alabama Regiment, serving until discharged at the war’s end April 1865. Elizabeth Samuel then married Callie Shell on 15 February 1885. Samuel died 22 August 1888. Both Samuel and Elizabeth are buried at County Line Cemetery, on the Lowndes/Butler County line.
