James Mathias Abrams was a farmer and a Deacon of Dominick Presbyterian Church when it was organized May 18, 1913. This church later merged with Little River Presbyterian Church in 1938 and was known as the Little River-Dominick Presbyterian Church. Little River Presbyterian Church was first organized in 1764.
