Notes for Thomas Miller
In 1835 Thomas and his family moved to Cherokee County, Alabama. There his wife Margaret Miller died. The youngest child Mahulda, only eight years old, lived with her oldest sister Lucinda. After the death of his wife, Thomas Miller went back to South Carolina. He later married a Mrs. Conner. Their children were Jane, Luraine and Tommie.
On his tomb in Crumly Chapel Cemetery is the inscription, "For 70 years a member of the Methodist Church."
