Robert Morris Glasgow, Sr. was drafted July 18, 1942, into the US Army. He served three years in Europe during WW II. He was wounded August 18, 1944, in France. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Infantry Expert Rifleman Medal, and the Purple Heart. Robert Morris Glasgow, Sr. was discharged November 1, 1945. He worked for TVA for 20 years.
