Notes for Lloyd Jackson Glasgow
Lloyd Jackson (Jack) was an outstanding high school basketball player at Phil Campbell High School, leading the Bobcats to the Alabama State Championship in 1947. Jack was awarded a basketball scholarship to Auburn University and was co-captain of the team his senior year. Jack's life was spent in education, as both a coach and administrator. He worked at Russellville High School in Russellville, Alabama, Dykea High in Atlanta, Georgia, and other schools. Jack died in 1982 with a heart attack while undergoing surgery.
