Notes for Della Dorothy Dempsey
Della was a member of the Mountain Home Presbyterian Church, Glasgow Corner, Belgreen Alabama. She was a loving and kind lady who always wore a smile.
Funeral announcement: Mrs. Della D. Underwood, 88, of Spruce Pine, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999.
Visitation was Saturday evening. The funeral will be Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home chapel with James Abston and L.T. McDougle officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain Home Cemetery. Survivers include her son, Ray L. "Doc" Underwood, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray L. Underwood. Pallbearers will include David Alexander, Cranford Alexander, Hoyt Dempsey, Joy Edward Dempsey, Terry Lee Dempsey and Perry Wayne Dempsey. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
