In early 1800 a ship left Germany with families coming to America. On this ship were the families of Hallman and Yougles. Joel Hallman and Mary Caroline Youngles, teenagers, met and later married. They landed in Charleston, South Carolina and were in the Merriwether County, Georgia 1860 census.
