Notes for Thomas Lewis Hybart
Died 16 September 1864 of typhoid fever at Smithville, now known as Southport, while serving as Captain in Company A (known as Capt. Thomas L. Hybert's Company), 7th Battalion North Carolina Junior Reserves from Cumberland, Robeson, and Harnett Counties which had been organized at Camp Lamb near Wilmington.
