Pierce Drum Thrones and Musician Seating is located in Dunlap, Tennessee.  It is a small town North of Chattanooga, East of Nashville, Tennessee.  It is owned and operated by Clint Pierce and Gina Boyd Pierce.  Clint designed the Rejuvenator Seat; and, began his prototype testing in the summer of 2003.

The seat top is a unique drum throne design.  According to Pierce, “the reason for this design was to create a throne that improved the Drummers control, comfort, and longevity.  The feel of control comes from being somewhat “locked” into position from the contoured design.”  The back part of the seat comes up higher to help relieve backpressure and to improve posture.  This takes the need for a second component, such as a backrest, out of the picture.  The upper buttock area provides constant support during all drumming positions.  This includes leaning forward and backward.  The mid to front section of the seat is designed so that you are straddling the seat.  This provides better leg clearance, improved movement, and in turn, enhances the blood circulation to your legs.

The original design for the Rejuvenator Seat was sent out for evaluation testing over a six-month period to a variety of different musicians.  The final product turned out very similar to the original design.  Minor modifications were made to make the Drum Throne a revolutionary design for the serious drummer.  The first production models were released in 2004.
